| UKChatterbox Room Review |
UKChatterbox periodically reviews room provision to reflect both room use and the changing needs of service users. This means rooms may be added or removed. On this occasion a total of 8 rooms are being removed for underuse. Insufficient requests have been received for the addition of any new rooms.
Please note that maintaining and moderating rooms requires staff time and resource. For this reason the retention of underused rooms cannot be justified. The rooms are shown below. The anticipated closure date is 31st December 2008. Please address any comments or queries to dragon@ukchatterbox.com

Please note: Although individual replies may not be sent to emails received on this topic, all emails will be saved and collated before 31/12/2008. The data from these emails will be taken into consideration prior to the implementation of room closures.
Note 1. On behalf of UKChatterbox I would just say that we do take user views into account when sufficient are expressed. The only cautionary word is that the rooms #youngatheart & #music need to stay popular, indeed improve their popularity in order to stay out of the statistical danger zone over the next 6 months leading up to the next review. In the case of #youngatheart reducing qualification from 90 to 60 days since profile registration may help.
Update 28/12/2008 (Revised 31/12/2008):
As at 1am 31/12/2008; The following list shows the number of support emails received per room requesting that it is kept open. Only #youngatheart and #music have received sufficient support to be retained. The remaining rooms will close on 31/12/2008 for the reasons detailed above.
